No, the sphynx still produce feline d1 which is the allergenic protein in cat salvia and skin secretions that is the cause for itchy and red eyes. Although people with allergies have been known to tolerate the sphynx more then cats with a lot of fur.
Yes! All my breeding adults are HCM scanned by a licensed cardiologists every 12 months. Although this doesn't guarantee they will never develop this disease, it is all we can do as breeders to ensure we only breed from clear, healthy cats.
Great question! When you purchase a Bald Angel Sphynx kitten they will be -desexed (non-negotiable) -2 vaccinations -microchipped -wormed from 4 weeks of age -nails trimmed, ears cleaned and minimum 2 baths. This is to help them get use to the pampering it takes to be a sphynx -Registration papers from ANCATS -Royal Canin kitten pack. This includes a food sample and some vouchers for their products -A toy and blanket They will also come pre spoilt by myself and my family
Yes & No! Unlike a lot of other breeders, I do things a little differently. I have found opening up a list per litter once my kittens have arrived to be a lot more manageable. I only take down 3-5 names per litter as that is my usually litter sizes and it really seems to work nicely for every body. This doesn't mean you cant email or call and ask about future litters. I always give a time frame of when I am expecting kittens and ask you to contact me back around that time to see how my girls are going. I also keep my site and facebook up to date with expected litters.
Yes, I 100% do. I have been flying my kittens across Australia since I started breeding 5 years ago and for the past 2 years, I have adapted to road transport since the air travel was affected. I use a brilliant company I have worked with now for this period and my kittens travel experiences have been nothing but amazing.
Between 12-14 weeks of age. They usually get desexed around 11.5-12.5 weeks old and then they stay with me 7-10 days after for observation.
I feed a mixture of premium dry food and wet food from Royal Canin and I also make my own RAW. I have found this to be the best way to bring up my kittens and to ensure my adults get everything they need to thrive.
